According to an arrest report, the investigation into Liudmila Perez Labrada began after someone tipped off Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers that she was storing and selling the items at her home in the county’s unincorporated West Little River area.

The report states that on June 16, a deputy went to the home, located in the 3100 block of Northwest 81st Terrace, to do an undercover buy.

Authorities said the deputy arrived and a “small young (boy)” opened the door.

“Liudmila Perez then shortly approached the deputy and allowed (the deputy) into the home. Perez instructed (the deputy) to look around and find whatever (the deputy) liked,“ the report states.

According to the report, the deputy bought a purported Louis Vuitton Sarah wallet, valued at $760, and a purported Louis Vuitton Alma BB handbag, valued at $1,900.

Deputies said Perez sold the items for $90 and $270, respectively.

A Louis Vuitton investigator confirmed the items were fakes, the report states.

Deputies then did another buy on June 30, they said. The report states she sold a purported looping handbag valued at $2,800 for $250.

On Thursday, deputies went to the home and arrested Perez. They said they seized more than $1 million worth of counterfeit goods.

Perez, arrested on a charge of counterfeiting more than $20,000 worth of goods, was being held in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center as of Friday afternoon with a bond listed as “to be set.”
