It’s all because of a $350 million settlement in a lawsuit filed against the technology giant in 2019.

The lawsuit was filed for audio issues that included customers who owned an iPhone 7 at any point between Sept. 16, 2016 and Jan. 3, 2023, according to settlement documents.
The agreement would entitle customers to receive at least $50 and no more than $349 in the settlement. Customers who reported audio issues but did not receive repairs for their devices are entitled to $125.
The deadline to claim the settlement is June 3.
