KANSAS CITY, MO. – The Miami Dolphins will see the return of two of their offensive playmakers for Saturday’s Wild Card game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.
The team activated running back Raheem Mostert and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle in what will be the first career playoff game for Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

In a game that will be played in frigid temperatures and one of the coldest in NFL history, Miami will need all the help they can get after losing multiple pass rushers over the last two weeks of the season.
The team signed former Pro Bowl linebacker Justin Houston and Bruce Irvin to 1 year deals with the hope of putting pressure on Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Mostert finished the regular season by scoring an NFL-best 18 rushing touchdowns.
Having Waddle back in the lineup will also give Tagovailoa one of his top weapons as he heads into his first career NFL playoff game.
Waddle became the first Dolphins wide receiver in the team’s history to record three consecutive 1,000 yard seasons.
Tagovailoa told reporters on Wednesday that he thinks “a little lower than 20″ degrees will be the coldest weather he’s played in during his career.
The forecast in Kansas City calls for temperatures below that and a wind chill that would make it feel like less than zero.
Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 8 p.m. and can only be streamed exclusively on Peacock.
A victory would give Miami their first playoff win in 24 years and their second road playoff win since 1972.
