MIAMI – The Miami Heat are honoring basketball legend Pat Riley.
The team will be renaming their court in Riley’s honor.

The team will now be playing on “Pat Riley Court at Kaseya Center.”
This year marks 30 years since Riley left the New York Knicks to join the Miami Heat franchise.
In his time as both head coach and team President, Riley delivered on his promise of a parade down Biscayne Boulevard three times.
The Heat won championships in 2006, 2012, and 2013.
Riley was the head coach for the 2006 team.
The Heat will officially be naming the court on Opening Night when they host the Orlando Magic on October 23.
