Waddle moves into Dolphins’ history books with big first half vs. Jets

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle moved into the team’s history books in the first half of the Dolphins-Jets Week 14 divisional showdown on Sunday.

Waddle set a Dolphins franchise record for the most receiving yards (4,047) in the first four seasons of an NFL career after totaling 61 yards in the first half.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa targeted Waddle early and often with Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner out for Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury.

The Jets are leading the Dolphins 20-15 in the third quarter.

Tagovailoa has gone 15 of 18 for 163 yards in the first half.
