Asked about the potential of players doing a so-called āhold-outā for more money, Canes Head Coach Mario Cristobal did not hold back.
Cristobal said, āWeāre not going to do that at Miami. I say that without any hesitation. If anyoneās thinking that, they could be the best player in the world: If they want to play hold-out, they can play get-out. We donāt want to do that. We donāt want Miami to become that. Too many guys have bleed and laid it on the line on that field to do that.ā
As for Tennessee, their head coach Josh Heupel said, āAt the end of the day, we got a lot of great work for the two guys who are here. Weāve got a chance to move forward as a program. Itās unfortunate in the landscape of college football that it happens at this point.ā
