MIAMI ā For the second straight year, the season ended sooner than the Miami Heat would have liked.
The Heat were knocked out of the playoffs in the First Round for the second straight season.
Miami was embarrassed by the Cavs in Games 3 and 4 in Miami, losing by 37 and 55 points in those games.
On Wednesday, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra and players addressed the media.
Team President Pat Riley is expected to talk about the season in the near future.
One of the big stories of the season was the drama surrounding Jimmy Butler before he was traded to Golden State.
Spoelstra said, āWhen I look back on it, Iāll look back on it now the same way as years from now, it was a good five year. When things end they end, not as loudly as this, but when it ends, thereās something. Go look at all the other teams with players when they change teams thereās a certain feeling about it.ā
As for what offseason changes the Heat will make to their roster, Heat captain Bam Adebayo knows how those decisions are made.
Adebayo said, āAt the end of the day, I want to win. I canāt do into the logistics of the tweaks and everything, thatās more of a Pat Riley question. I hope you can ask that question to him and he doesnāt blow you off and ignore you.ā
