This Week in South Florida: Max Schachter

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – The push to get significant and bipartisan legislation for gun safety on a national level stalled in the Senate late last week over several details.

The framework includes some of the unprecedented laws passed in Florida in 2018 after the massacre at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas Senior High School.

Max Schachter was among the parents who pushed those through, and last week he testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Schachter joined This Week in South Florida hosts Glenna Milberg and Michael Putney to discuss, and their conversation can be seen at the top of this page.
