CBS forbids editing of 'Face the Nation' interviews after complaints from Kristi Noem

Paramount has agreed to pay $16 million to settle a lawsuit by President Donald Trump over the editing of CBS’ “60 Minutes” interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris in October.

CBS says it will turn over unedited transcripts of its October interview with Kamala Harris to the Federal Communications Commission.

CBS News' Scott Pelley said the Trump campaign offered “shifting explanations” for why it backed out of a planned interview the show aired on Monday.

Ken Jennings, considered the show's greatest champion, is currently serving as the first guest host. “The show has been so special to me over the years.”Whitaker, a “60 Minutes” correspondent, will also be a guest host. The show will make a donation to the guest hosts' charity of choice that matches the total dollar amount won by contestants during their run.

Joining the live coverage will be Chris Scalia, a son of Ginsburg's close friend and colleague, late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. Fox News Channel will present a one hour special on the life and legacy of Ginsburg on Sunday at 10 p.m. Eastern, anchored by Shannon Bream.
