Christmas Eve turned violent in the Bunche Park neighborhood of Miami Gardens Tuesday evening.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. Lynell Humphery, Jr. was fatally shot on Monday in Miami Gardens, police said. Detectives are searching for a shooter who fired a weapon at 3:48 p.m., along Northwest 162nd Terrace in the Bunche Park neighborhood. Detectives are asking anyone with information about Humpherys murder to call 305-474-1636 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477. There is a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.

A bicyclist died Thursday afternoon when a two-vehicle crash quickly propelled a Toyota Coupe in his direction, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. A white Toyota Sedan and a white Toyota Coupe crashed at the intersection of Northwest 27the Avenue at Northwest 163rd Street, according to Lt. Alejandro Camacho, a spokesman for FHP. After the collision, the Toyota Coupe struck a male bicyclist who was waiting in the median of Northwest 27th Avenue near the Bunche Park neighborhood.
