Ebenhack)MIAMI ā Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Chan Gailey has resigned one season after coming out of retirement. āHe played an important role on the staff and in the development of our young roster.āGailey's resignation means Flores will have his third offensive coordinator in as many seasons in 2021. Godsey was offensive coordinator for the Houston Texans in 2015-16.

After the game, rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said that he and Gailey had a good relationship.

Tagovailoa is happy to keep a low profile befitting his rookie status, even though he's widely hailed as the Miami Dolphins' future franchise quarterback. A former star at Alabama, Tagovailoa knows how to deal with the pressure of great expectations. But Tagovailoa will be difficult to overlook because he's full of potential and personality. As far as how I feel right now, everything is going well.That's what the Dolphins want to hear.
