A Spanish judge has approved a trial for Colombian pop singer Shakira on charges of tax fraud.

The public relations firm that represents Shakira says the Colombian pop singer has opted to go to trial instead of accepting a deal offered by Spanish prosecutors to settle allegations she defrauded Spain’s government of 14.5 million euros ($15 million) in taxes.

Colombian pop star Shakira and her partner, Spanish soccer star Gerard Piqué, are splitting up.

The league has told clubs that on Monday all players can start small group sessions regardless of the lockdown phase in their regions. Teams in Madrid and Barcelona theoretically would not be allowed to start training in groups if the government hadnt created exceptions. It's a good thing because it allows all teams to practice in a similar way, Spanish league president Javier Tebas told league broadcaster Movistar on Sunday.
