NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – A shooting left three people injured on Friday night outside of a funeral home near North Miami. According to Detective Christopher Thomas, a spokesman for the Miami-Dade Police Department, the three males suffered gunshot wounds to the upper torso. About 9:40 p.m., officers responded to the Funeraria Latina Emanuel Funeral Home at 14990 W. Dixie Highway. Thomas said the victims had been attending a wake and paramedics said one of the three victims was critically injured.

ORLANDO, Fla. – A U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent killed three family members, including two juveniles, and then himself at his Florida home, authorities said Thursday night. Deputies learned the family members hadn’t been seen since last week, so they entered the home and found the four bodies, he said. Investigators weren’t immediately identifying the victims or the agent, who worked at the Orlando International Airport. Mina said the dead included a woman in her 30s, a middle-school-age boy and a high-school-age boy. Officials didn’t immediately say how the victims were related to the agent.

MIRAMAR, Fla. – Frederick Eugene surrendered Thursday night in Miramar to face charges in the Jan. 31 killing of a 31-year-old father, police said. Detectives had a warrant for the arrest of Eugene, 33, in the fatal shooting of Jimmy Fleurimond, a father of four children whose youngest baby was 4 months old. Eugene is accused of shooting Fleurimond, who worked as a cook, near his home in the 6300 block of Southwest 27th Street in Miramar. No other information was immediately available.

A Monday night shooting left a family in mourning in Davie and a killer on the loose, according to the Davie Police Department. Lt. Mark Leone, a spokesman for the department, said officers found a man dead inside a car about 9 p.m. in the driveway of a home at 2700 SW 116 Ave., in the Majestic Groves community. Leone said the man was shot several times and the detectives’ investigation was ongoing Tuesday afternoon. Detectives have yet to release the identity of the shooting victim. According to the multiple listing service that real estate brokers use, the 3-bedroom home was listed for $1.08 million on Dec. 6.
