Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s leftist party has won the most seats in the parliamentary election.

Preliminary results show that Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s party won Kosovo’s parliamentary election but without the majority needed to govern alone, as talks on normalizing ties with rival Serbia remain stalled and foreign funding for one of Europe’s poorest countries is in question.

Kosovo goes to the polls Sunday in a parliamentary election expected to be a key test for Prime Minister Albin Kurti after his party won in a landslide four years ago.
