It could be decision day for Miami-Dade County commissioners as they weigh whether to move forward with building a new waste-to-energy incinerator — a project that’s drawn passionate opposition and could affect residents across both Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

Miami-Dade commissioners will not be making any decisions about the controversial solid waste incinerator on Wednesday, but it was still a topic of conversation.
