The specials remake classic episodes of trailblazing producer Norman Lear's most popular TV shows in front of an audience and airs them live. The first show was nominated for three Emmy Awards and won for Outstanding Variety Special (Live). "Only Jimmy and Norman can top what they accomplished the first time," Karey Burke, president of ABC Entertainment, said in the release. ABC didn't reveal which actors will star in the "holiday-inspired live event" set to air December 18.
