Sonic the Hedgehog at the "Halo" along Hall Road in Sterling Heights on Feb. 6, 2020. But things didn’t look too good when a trailer dropped last April that portrayed Sonic as more rat-like with creepy human teeth. One great sequence ends with everyone agreeing on a common enemy: hipsters. “Sonic the Hedgehog,” a Paramount Pictures release, is rated PG for action, some violence, rude humor and brief mild language.

"Sonic the Hedgehog" was originally slated to release on Nov. 8, but it was pushed back until Feb. 14, 2020, to accommodate for the redesign.
