Miami Waterkeeper tests for the Enterococcus, which is a fecal indicator bacteria associated with wastewater. On Jan. 14, Miami Waterkeeper warned the public there were high levels of bacteria at Lake Sylvia, Himmarshee Canal, Tarpon River, and Sweeting Park.
