ABC News Correspondent Alex Stone joined Glenna Milberg live on This Week in South Florida Sunday morning to provide the latest updates from Altadena, California, where dawn had just broken over the charred landscape.

President Joe Biden met with officials in the Oval Office Friday to discuss the devastation caused by wildfires raging across Los Angeles, which have killed at least 10 people and destroyed more than 10,000 homes and buildings.

The death toll has climbed to more than 100, and the photos below chronicle just how devastating the damage has been, particularly in the town of Lahaina.

Scorching temperatures led to more dangerous heat warnings across the country Tuesday and drastically increased the risk of wildfires in the West.

NEW YORK – American Airlines has announced it will offer air miles for those who make donations to support relief efforts in Australia following the country’s devastating wildfires. From January 8 through January 24, the airline will give 10 air miles for every dollar donated to the Australian Red Cross, with a minimum donation of $25. The offer is for AAdvantage members, with the miles being deposited into accounts 30 to 45 days after the donations are made. CLICK HERE to donate and earn free air miles.

The damage has been devastating and news of the bushfires has spread overseas with many activists and celebrities sharing photos of the devastation on social media. I am totally devastated watching what is happening in Australia right now with the horrific bushfires. Another Australian actor, Russell Crowe, who is in Australia right now, posted that he donated $105,000 to firefighters.
