Vice President Kamala Harris was no longer at the watch party Wednesday morning at Howard University in Washington, D.C.
As of 2:30 a.m., The Associated Press reported the Republican former president had 267 electoral votes, placing him just 3 votes short of winning the presidency. Harris had 214 electoral votes.
The Emmy Award-winning journalist joined the Local 10 News team in 2013. She wrote for the Miami Herald for more than 9 years and won a Green Eyeshade Award.
