PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – It’s shaping up to be another beautiful weekend in South Florida, with perfect conditions for outdoor activities.
Local 10 meteorologist Peta Sheerwood told viewers Saturday morning that the area is experiencing mild temperatures and comfortable humidity.
“Folks at Hollywood Beach are not wasting any time soaking in this lovely weather,” Sheerwood said. “Currently, it’s 78 degrees with east winds at 14 mph, making it feel like 80.”
Sheerwood explained that temperatures across South Florida are in the upper 70s, with Pembroke Pines reaching 81 degrees. Miami is at 77, and Key Largo is seeing 76 degrees. Dew points were in the mid-60s, offering a tolerable humidity level on Saturday morning.
“As we move into the afternoon, expect a high of 82 degrees,” Sheerwood said. “Rain chances are limited at just 10%, so while a few showers may roll in, most of us will stay dry.”
Sheerwood also hinted that the pleasant conditions will extend into next week, with low rain chances continuing to affect the area.
“We’re looking at clear skies and mild temperatures, perfect for a weekend outdoors,” she added.
