As we continue to monitor the low emerging into the Gulf. The National Hurricane Center upped the odds of tropical development to now a 40%. This disturbance will have a short window of opportunity to develop into a tropical depression over the next two days as it moves over a region with warm waters and low to moderate wind shear. Regardless of development, as this system pulls away from us here in Florida, it will track towards Louisiana where up to 7 inches of rainfall will be possible.
